Welcome to Sederica. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using our website and buying our furniture. When you browse our site or place an order, you agree to these terms.

We sell to customers across the European Union. Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About Us

Our website, sederica.com, is operated by Sederica (referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). If you have any questions, you can email us at hello@sederica.com.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy from us. We will send you an order confirmation email, but the contract between us is only complete when we dispatch your goods and send you a dispatch confirmation.

We may refuse or cancel an order in some cases, for example if an item is out of stock or if there has been a pricing error. If this happens, we will refund any money you have paid.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. We offer free delivery to all 27 EU countries, with no minimum order.

We accept secure payments through Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, and major credit and debit cards. We take payment when your order is dispatched.

Prices may change from time to time, but any change will not affect an order you have already placed. Product images are for illustration, and colours may look slightly different depending on your screen.

4. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 to 3 business days. Once your order is dispatched, delivery usually takes 5 to 7 business days, depending on where you live in the EU.

We use reliable couriers and give you tracking details. A signature may be needed for larger items. Responsibility for the goods passes to you once they are delivered.

We cannot deliver to PO boxes. Sometimes delays happen for reasons beyond our control, but we will always keep you informed. You can read more on our Shipping and Delivery page.

5. Your Rights as a Consumer

Under EU consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Directive, the goods we sell must:

• Match how we described them
• Be of satisfactory quality
• Be fit for their purpose

If your goods are faulty, you have the right to a repair, a replacement, or a refund. These legal rights always apply and are never reduced by any policy we offer.

6. Returns and Refunds

On top of your legal rights, we offer a 14-day return period from the day your order arrives. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and with all packaging included.

We refund the price of the item. If you simply change your mind, you pay the cost of return postage. If the item is faulty or we sent the wrong one, we cover all costs. We process refunds within 14 days of receiving your returned item. You can read the full details on our Returns and Refunds page.

7. Warranty

Every item comes with a 2-year written warranty against manufacturing faults, in addition to your legal rights. You can read the full details on our Warranty page.

8. Our Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that we cause and that could be reasonably expected if we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that could not be expected, or for any business use of our products.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits our liability for things that the law does not allow us to limit, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Intellectual Property

The content on our website, including images and text, belongs to us or is used under licence. Our products are reproductions inspired by classic designs. You may not copy or reuse our website content without our written permission.

10. General Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page.

Sometimes events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather or strikes, may affect our service. We are not liable for delays or problems caused by these events.
